Paul Hanna

President - Paul Hanna

Following completion of a MBA at University of Ulster in 1992, Paul participated in the USA Export Market Development Programme, based in Boston Massachusetts, subsequently returning to University of Ulster as a Research Assistant in the Dept. of Marketing & Business Organization. From there he joined F.G. Wilson Engineering and in October 1994 took up a Technical Sales Engineer role in their North American office in Miami, Florida. Paul then moved to Chicago, Illinois and worked for eight years with Invest NI in the Midwest US office.

In 2005, he joined Corporate Express as a Business Development Executive focused on the US Federal Government. In 2008 Corporate Express was acquired by Staples Inc, and he now manages all of Staples’ business with the Federal Government in Illinois and Wisconsin.


Margaret Molloy

Margaret Molloy

Margaret Molloy is Chief Marketing Officer and Partner at Velocidi, a next-generation, digital marketing agency in New York.

Margaret is a marketing professional with over 15 years of experience in building sales enablement, B2B strategy, and executive engagement programs. Prior to joining Velocidi, she served as SVP of Marketing at Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG)—the world’s leading expert network. She has led marketing organizations at Siebel Systems—where she was a member of the Siebel Systems CEO’s Circle—and served as VP of Marketing at Telecom Ireland US (eircom) where she was a prolific speaker on Ireland as a location for inward investment.

Margaret received her MBA from Harvard Business School, and earned her undergraduate degrees from the University of Ulster, and La Universidad de Valladolid. A native of Ireland, Margaret has been recognized as one the "Most Influential US-Irish American Leaders" by Business & Finance magazine, and a "Top 100 Irish Americans in Business" by Irish America magazine. She resides in Manhattan, NY, with her husband and two sons.


Paul Jennings

Paul Jennings

Paul Jennings is a senior advisor with the Global Financial Services Group at Silicon Valley Bank (SVB). Paul works with SVB Private Equity, Venture Capital, Life Science and Clean Tech clients on all aspects of their global banking needs. Prior to SVB, Paul worked with Anglo Irish Bank in Boston where he established and led the Private Equity Treasury Group and developed strategy for FX sales in North America. Paul was also a manager in the Anglo Irish Bank US Deposit business.

Paul is a Board Member of the Boston Irish Business Association (BIBA), American Friends of University of Ulster and the Environment and Energy Committee of the British American Business Council (BABCNE). Paul is a graduate of the University of Ulster in Ireland.


Kate Bond

Kate Bond

Ms Kate Bond, is from the city of Derry and is Head of Development and Alumni at the University of Ulster. She has a professional background in arts and cultural development in Northern Ireland in the private and public sectors having worked for Field Day Theatre Company, the Lyric Theatre and been Community Relations Officer for Coleraine Borough Council.

Prior to taking up post in the University of Ulster, she was Arts Manager for the city and district of Armagh where her main responsibility was to lead the design, build and establishment of the Market Place Theatre and Arts Centre. She is a Director of An Grianán Theatre and the Verbal Arts Centre and a Board member of the Academy for Irish Cultural Heritages.

Mark Mathers

Mark Mathers

As head of the Financial Planning practice at Bostonian Group, Mark develops and maintains an intimate working relationship with Bostonian Group’s high net worth clients. With over 14 years of experience as a financial advisor, Mark has served a broad clientele, including business leaders in Greater Boston area as well as wealthy individuals and families. His educational background includes an honors degree in business studies from the University of Ulster, a certificate in export marketing from the McLaren College of Business at the University of San Francisco and a diploma in philosophy from St. Patrick’s Seminary, Maynooth. Mark is on the boards of the Boston College Club, Catholic Schools Foundation, Catholic Charities North, and the Irish Pastoral Centre.

Mark is married to Kathleen and they reside in Lynnfield with their children Caitlin and Sean.
